The Fourth

The fourth of July was a fun, and super lazy day for us. We got up early and went to our wards annual pancake breakfast. It was a great time, but so bloody hot. I am not a fan of the outdoors in the summer when there is no pool involved. A little later in the day, we headed out to my brothers house in Justin. It was my niece, Audrey's first birthday party. We had a great time with lots of yummy food. When the party died down, we all sprawled out on the floor for "quite time" and watched the Wizard of Oz. Later on, we ordered pizza and then headed out to the street to light of our own fireworks. (Nick lives for that.) The kids had a blast. On the drive home, we scoped out at least 15 different firework displays, we had quite the view of the metroplex. It was really cool! We had a great day with family.

So are fireworks allowed in Justin city limits? WOW! My hubby would love to fire some off but we didn't know where it was allowed. Sounds like you had a blast - no pun intended.

Um, 'Chubbs' is the perfect nickname for him. Love it!
