Good Times, Good Times

What a whirlwind this weekend has been. It has been a total blast. We got to spend Saturday at the Frisco Horse Park. Grandpa promised the girls pony rides. We had so much fun. They have pygmy billy goats and sheep roaming around, and it is especially fun if you are a male, holding a can of feed. The goats have a tendency to jump up on you like a dog, but bear in mind, they have hooves. Rico and Jeremy got more than their fair share of kicks to "the area where the sun don't shine."

Bird has never been happier in her whole lief than she was riding a "horse"

After the horse park we came home for a BBQ and made a fire in our chiminea and hung out all evening. It was magnificent. Rico and I decided to lay on our already half-broken trampoline and gaze up at the stars. I hear Bird in the background saying "MOM! DAD! Don't do it! It's going to break!" And sure enough, one by one, springs started popping off and flying all over, and before we knew it were on the ground. Our next door neighbor even found a few springs in his pool this morning. Oops. That is such a great boost to my self esteem. I have the capacity to send the springs from our ghetto trampoline all over the yard! Go ME!
